Summer Solstice - the longest day of the year.

For the past few years I have been dedicated to begin new seasons with cleansing detoxes. The 7 days of cleansing food jump starts me with mindful eating and feeling more energized. It’s a game changer!

The day begins with shakes, community support, motivation and tips. We breakdown days 1 through 7 (some others continue to detox for 14-21 days, too, if there are any gut issues, etc.). It’s a great segue to move forward and change your body for the BEST!

The benefits to cleaning your system with high quality nutrition and much much more are backed with science based ancient traditions - Ayurveda (science of life) and the Mediterranean diet.

What to expect: clearer thinking, improved digestion, deeper sleep, vibrant skin, increased energy, weight lose - it’s a deeping protocol, unlike superficial skin creams, and processed foods.

Recipe:
2 cups spinach - raw or heated gently in pan
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes - optional
1 cup cucumbers
1/2 cup avocado
2 cups chickpeas - cooked or can - wash well

Dressing:
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp fennel seeds or stalk - chopped

  • this recipe serves two people

  • heat spinach in pan at low heat for a few minutes - unless you eat spinach raw

  • add all the vegetables in a salad bowl

  • add the dressing into a jar and mix

  • add dressing to salad veggies and enjoy

    This week is a summer seasonal 7 day detox, therefore, I’m keeping my veggies simple and delicious. You can enjoy this salad all summer long.
